This book follows three sisters, most importantly the oldest one, Cate, in their strife to fit into a society that hates witches while themselves being witches. It's full of intrigues, drama and love stories. Not my all time favourite fantasy book but still a very interesting one, with an interesting take on the witch theme and portrayal of a religious sect.
