somehow all the gay books i read turn out to be some sort of superbatural-mystery-scifi-thingy. i don't know, maybe i stop reading the synopsis after finding out it's gay and therefore never know the real plot. but it wasn't a bad thing with this book, it was a quite enjoyable read. plus i'm never supercritical regarding lgbt books.

This story is so much about learning who you really are... The story is fascinating and gripping. All the time you get bits of a puzzle and that makes it hard to put the book down. The protagonist is a likeable teenage boy, who struggles with problems the way a curios teenage would do. He is not some kind of super brave hero, which makes him and his story honest. The fantasy part in this book is all about visions and out of body experiences. You get to know that there is more about it, but there is nobody is using a wand or something. It a rather spiritual approach. If you like, gay romance, fantay/witchcraft and stories about finding yourself, this is a good book for you.
