"By my will, I make my way."
There aren't any books with dragons that I adore more than those written by Christopher Paolini. Maybe I am a bit biased there, since Eragon and Alagaësia hold so much nostalgic value for me. This book now, which is, as Paolini himself stated, not book five of the main series and more of a stand-alone, telling about the journey of Murtagh and what he experienced after the ending of "Inheritance". And I think it's great. I really enjoyed the characters of Murtagh and Thorn, and the heaviness of what they already lived through was so well implied in their current state. The story was catching and intense and I am really curious what more will grow from it. Any time these days I pick up a new book centered in this world I realise, that Alagaësia is more home to me than many other places. I will probably never not love it.
