What in the rupi kaur was this pretentiousness? Really disappointed. The writing style was honestly straight out reminiscent of a 17 year old. Everything was over explained, references to contemporary things - in an effort to date the story? Not sure. But didn’t work for me at all, had me rolling my eyes near constantly. Also: I don’t want to hear about the pandemic. Stop. The story itself also does not go ANYWHERE. I won’t even mention the errors where a Yamaha is a Yahama and Tamarillo fruit becomes tomatillo. Was this any longer, I would have DNF. Worst thing I read in a while.
