Once again another book by Rick Riordan which I really enjoyed. - Asgard, Odin: I cannot BELIEVE Odin said something that sounded wise but of course he decided to put this quote on a shirt. Loved Thor listening to rock/The Stones. (“He’s listening to rock.” “Rock ‘n’ roll?” “No, just rock. Boulders, gravel, stones.”) - Midgard, Amir: I did not expect a story about him but it was so good! Gold producing necropants are really something new lol. LOVED that Alex appeared in this story, too. - Nidavellir, Blitzen: He had to save Thor (discreetly). Was a well written story but nothing I’ll remember. - Alfheim, Hearthstone: Hearth has to save Inge from a troll. An okay story. - Jotunheim, Samirah Al-Abbas: This story seemed kinda unnecessary. Samirah has to take a picture of the egg of Fialar. If the egg hatches, it’s a sign of Ragnarok. Seemed to be without a connection to the other stories except for Thor’s jog through the Nine Worlds. - Helheim, TJ: TJ has to find Garm, Hel’s hellhound, to save his mother from torture with the help of Balder’s mistletoe arrow. - Niflheim, Mallory: she teaches Nidhogg some insults. - Vanaheim, Halfborn: he hancrafts a mosaic for Mallory (their first battle together). He needs dragon scales to finish it so he travels to Vanaheim. - Muspellheim, Alex Fierro: Alex has to stop Surt from recruiting Gods for his plans after Ragnarok. Every story was entertaining but I liked Amir’s and Alex’s best. Thor’s little epilogue was SO in character as well. All in all, I had a lot of fun and I would love to read more about these characters.
