Meh.
I so wanted to love this but it really wasn’t for me. I was bored and had to force myself to finish it. Maybe it would have been easier had Dorian simply be a sinner and not such a whiny bitch.
A book that deserves to be called a classic in all the highest regards.

I don’t read a ton of classics but this one will always be one of my favourites. Its just so gruesome and different maybe even disturbing and absolutely incredible. Even the language is understandable haha

Das ist ein ziemlich dunkler Klassiker, aber ein sehr guter! Ich kannte die Geschichte von Dorian Gray, habe aber nie das Buch gelesen. Es war tatsächlich nicht einfach, aber es hat sich gelohnt. Der Vibe von diesem Buch ist genial und passt perfekt in die dunkle Jahreszeit. Einige Zitate haben es mir wirklich angetan! Wer mit Klassikern anfangen will, sollte definitiv zu diesem Buch greifen!
