That felt good. After more than three weeks, I finally had time to read again. Unfortunately, I had started the book and then didn't have time to read anything else, so I couldn't finish it until now. As a result, I feel like I couldn't fully enjoy it, even though it deserved to be enjoyed. It was my first story about the famous Sherlock Holmes and Watson duo, and I gained a lot of impressions, especially from the English original. For one thing, it's not something you can read while being distracted by a constant noise level, such as conversation. It requires (in my personal opinion) a fair amount of concentration. The writing style is of inestimable value. It is artistic and beautiful, extremely detailed and well thought out. I also really appreciate the "British charm" and sophisticated language. Furthermore, now that I finally had the chance to read it properly in one go, I must say that I was able to experience the famous unbreakable suspense, especially at the end!
