I have no words for what this book makes me feel. And I don't mean to just use this overused phrase as a means to an end No. This book makes me feel things I can't describe. I have a connection to this book that I can't describe. The characters. The writing. The story. So much more. Probably one of my favorite books I ever read It is simply everything Wait and Hope, my friends Wait and Hope

Wow, what a book! It took a lot time for me to read it but it was full of surprises, suspenses and knowledge. It had me thinking about revenge, destiny and the power of money. There were a few aspects I liked a little bit less than the rest of the book, but all in all - totally a classic worth reading.

Need to give this a re-read. I remember it being much more revenge-driven than the movie, and much more religious as well. Beautiful writing and excellent characters. Some aspects that will especially trouble those who have the tendency to impose modern morals on historical works.
