I don't have enough superlatives for this amazing, insightful book. It does such a great job of conveying the hopeful, idealistic energy of the Sixties hippies, the heartbreak of their gradual disillusionment and the ongoing effects on their lives after they move on. The main character resonates with me very strongly. I would particularly recommend this book to fans of Starhawk's The Fifth Sacred Thing and City of Refuge, although it does not have the same overt pagan content.
