Actual rating: 4.5 stars On the one hand, this book was wholesome with a slow-burn romance, relatable and realistic characters. On the other hand it also has a problematic mother-daughter relationship in contrast to a loving one and showed the possible hardships of motherhood. Somewhere in the middle of the book it felt a bit slow but the rest kept me glued to the pages. I truly enjoyed this book and I also liked this author‘s adult book more than her YA one! Excited to read more on the future!
