In all truth, I think this might have been the worst book on being single I’ve read in my life. I feel like the title is utterly misleading, because you expect a book that celebrates singleness whereas it really is a book that tells you to properly process your relationships before you get into a new one. And not that that’s not good advice, I just think it’s a bit too small to explain why he felt the need to write a book about it. And then title it Single. On Purpose. Honestly not worth the read at all. What he said was alright, but he didn’t explain anything properly and just very slightly touched a lot of topics on the surface. And he truly doesn’t sound like he has a lot of healthy relationships. The importance of friendships felt completely overlooked. It was just a mess all over.
