I grew to like the relationship between Lou and Reid though I'm uncertain if I like him being as much of a special snowflake as Lou.

Great piece of fantasy, that sucked me into its depths!
Worldbuilding is excellent and characters grow over time and surprise you over and over again. Some twists are foreseeable, but that doesn’t tone down the excitement it creates. Looking forward to part two!
