I‘m rather surprised to read so many weak rewiews for this book, because I actually enjoyed it more than part I. The changing POV‘s throughout the chapters were quite confusing at times and I had to check more than once from which POV it was written 🥴 But apart from that, I enjoy the story quite much! I often didn’t know if I‘d rather be on Lou‘s or Reid‘s side, because both had their moments when they were being stupid or confusing, but in the end they both took their part in advancing the story. The side characters are just lovely in this and even characters such as La Voisin and the loup garou are very well written and I long to know what happens to them. Apart from the end (which left me in pieces and made me long for part III even more), I really liked the book and will straight dive into the next part!
