Boy oh boy, did I even consider the possibility of falling head over heels in love when I started reading? Nope, not at all. But here we are, finished and utterly smitten. If you've seen the movie "Mr. Nobody" then the overall concept of the book isn't entirely new to you. It's about how one decision can drastically alter your life. Addie, the main character of the book, has the ability to look into the future whenever she has to make a choice that could potentially lead to an utter disaster. She'll mentally live through 2 options, and then choose accordingly. When she is faced with her parents' impending divorce, she's making use of her gift to decide whom to stay with. Should she go with her dad, who chooses to live among the normal people (who have no idea people like Addie even exist)? Or should she stay with her mom, in surroundings she's known her entire life? This book is filled with unexpected turns, there was never a dull moment. The characters are very well depicted. Some are insanely lovable, others are relatable, some you hate right off the bat, and others you'll grow to detest as the story progresses. Looking forward to the 2nd book.
