Watching the Bridgertons on Netflix has reminded me that I still had this one on my tbr pile. I loved the Bridgerton books and I hoped I would find something similar with this. And I did. Julia Quinn's characters are exactly like I remembered them (I read the Bridgerton series about 10 years ag0). They are lovely to be around, funny and sarcastic. The hero is - of course - unbelievably charming and our heroine is head over heels for him. The story in this one didn't quite reach me, though. I loved to read about Miranda and Turner, but the last third of the book somehow lost its magic on me. The ending dragged too much for my liking.
