When Grace discovers her bio dad, a millionaire, rejected her and her dying mother, she decides to enact her revenge by killing the entire family. Yet, in a strange twist of fate, she is convicted and sent to prison for the one murder she DIDN'T commit. From prison she regales us with her story, and what a story it is.
Okayyy so I think I’m going to give this book 3 stars. Even if it pains me a little cause I was expecting something more. In this book, grace (the main character) is in prison and this book follows her diary, but she’s in prison for a crime she didn’t commit and tells us about all the other six people she killed without anyone knowing. If I’m being honest, it was kinda boring like idk I was excited to read it but the first half wasn’t it for me. The second half was more interesting especially the letter at the end. It was just too much pages and too long I think it would have been better if it was shorter and straight to the point ykwim. I’m stuck between thinking she’s a pretty interesting character and not liking her because she’s pretty unlikeable. This character is so snobby idk how to explain it but she just hates EVERYONE let me tell you some examples (she hates; fat people, old people, gay people, rich but also poor people, people with eating disorders, people with an addiction, women, mentally ill people , the reader and just SO MUCH MORE) but I think you get what I mean like it was just kinda annoying how she hated so much and how much it was mentioned over and over again. I felt bad for Andrew (her cousin) that she killed, like bro what did he even do to you. Herr Cellmate "Kelly" was a pretty cool character, I liked her. But this book still gets 3 stars because the ending was pretty good. Even though the letter was long it was such a twist at the end and how he (the one who wrote the letter but I don’t wanna spoil) and Kelly were in contact and it made much more sense. So yeee
