i had a veeery rocky start with this book, i will admit that. i didn't understand what was going on, everything was super confusing, but one i started to get past that, i enjoyed it so much! quite a delicious & lush story that moves slowly & focuses on characters but has twists and turns and satisfying drama. i loved slowly connecting the different plotlines. the way they were written was very fun i think! though both characters were a bit unlikeable - especially leo - in the end... well they grew on me. overall a fun reading experience (and the audio book is also great) also for people who don't love fantasy that much. also don't wait for the game to be explained. it's not explained. just go with the vibe and the social commentary of it.
