I’d like to thank the author Bree Hayden for the opportunity to have this book as an arc. I really wanted to enjoy this book. I’ve been hyped for months. But I don’t think it was really for me. Usually, I don’t mind second changes. But I felt like it was toxic. That Denali’s whole behaviour was toxic. In the past and present. I felt like the only sane character was Elijah. Of course, he sometimes had his moments when he was too much. He wasn’t in the right. But honestly, he had the best reaction when he learned that Denali and Zariah started seeing each other again. I really didn’t like either of their personalities. I’m disappointed but will give the author another chance as I’ll read another book of hers.
