Another very very great book by Kyra Parsi. This woman is such a talented RomCom author, I'm so obsessed. She writes truely laughing out loud hilarious books with the best banter ever, while still managing to make me very emotional (This book made me cry so much, I didn't expect it) and having the cutest romance (I was grinning and giggling a lot) with the hottest kinky spice I've ever read. (This book has roleplaying, edging and a few more things, the spice really made me sit there with an open mouth) And in addition every character feels so real and authentic and the storyline is so thought through and believable. Let's start with the characters. Alice Cloutier was a favourite of mine since "A deal with the bossy devil", she's funny, she's confident and strong and I loved to get to know her vulnerable side in this book. Her family is my favourite book family of all time, I really missed them, they are the funniest. It was especially great to read about Adrien and Gampy again. They are just the best. Dominic Crawford is so crafty and smart, the amount of work he put into his revenge I was in shock haha, and then we get to know him more and more, see his vulnerable side, find out he's actually so obsessed with Alice and I especially enjoyed his childhood journal entries (I liked that we can only figure out it's his journal by the half of the book). Getting to know their backstory more and more chapter by chapter was so exciting, the whole thing was so thought through and full of small details, I'm fascinated by Kyra Parsis creativity. And they actually had true reasons to hate eachother even if it were misunderstandings. The hate and fighting between them was so messy and childish, I was laughing so much. You could really tell that they know eachother since they were children. But I love that they didn't just hate eachother, they basically lied to themselves and you can feel it from the beginning, the obsession and tension is wow. (This book was definitely the spiciest book by Kyra Parsi by now) Their whole story feels like very very true love, true soulmates, a whole life love. I really cried when he told her, that he can't get her out of his head, the words he used everytime to express his feelings were just wow. My heart was hurting so much, they lost so much time, all because of misunderstandings. And I loved Dominic finding his way back to her family too. This was one of my favourite parts of the book: - Maxwell going absolutely happily crazy when he sees him again (I really love this bird) - Gampy hitting him with his cane - And especially Dominic basically courting Adrien to win him over (I was lying on the floor crying from laughter the whole time) And I really love the scene in the end where they all hug him and cry. A character I really liked too and would love to get to know better is Amber. I thought the whole time that it would be interesting to have a book about her too. Her living as a single young mom finding love. I have only one small critique: Sometimes the chapter transitions were very sudden and I was confused what is happening, I often had to check if I'm on the right chapter, and it was a little bit rushed after the biggest plot happened. I would have had no problem with the book being longer, as I really enjoyed it. Kyra Parsi, you really put me on an emotional rollercoaster, thank you so very much for letting me experience a book like this. I'm so happy, that I discovered you.

BITTE UNBEDINGT LESEN! Da hat Kyra zum Ende der Reihe nochmal ein richtiges Feuerwerk an Ideen, Banter und vor allem Humor abgefeuert. Ich hab’s geliebt! Ich bin so in love auch mit den Nebencharaktern, besonders Gampy, ich werde ihn so vermissen 😭 Was ich bei Kyras Büchern liebe ist der Ideenreichtum, die Details die sie einbringt und auch der Humor. Und bei den Spice Szenen war selbst ich dieses Mal so: 😱😀 „NE, das haben sie nicht gemacht“ Da war selbst ich mal kurz schockiert, haha. Es hat einfach nur Spaß gemacht!!! Und ich wünschte ich könnte es nochmal zum ersten Mal lesen. 🥹🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Ich konnte nicht arbeiten und habe einfach weiter gelesen. Wow wow wow, diese Spannung, banter, ich musste lachen, mir die Augen zuhalten, es hatte einfach ALLES. Lest dieses Buch. Trust me on this.
