This book was kinda mid
I didn’t go in with big expectations (and good thing I didn’t). At this point all the Kingmen brothers are basically the same dude in different fonts — football, trauma, fall in love after three days, move in after five, marry after twelve. Copy, paste, repeat. The plot had a few twists I didn’t see coming, so that was fun, but still… not enough stuff happening. The characters felt flat, the spice didn’t hit, and a couple moments were just straight-up cringe. Not terrible, just not great either. Definitely not my fave in the series.
