The Syndicater - ein emotionaler Abschluss

not quite content but accepting

Alright so I'm not sure how to properly rate this. First of all, I love to have everyone's POV in the last book, but why always the unfitting Perspektive? If something trivial is happening, I want to be in the head of the person closest to it. Not someone indirectly concerned. I want thoughts and all, you know? Now, fun fact, and out of rating but if I had to vote my couples, first rank would be Dainn and Lyna, second Morana and Tristan, third Amara and Dante and fourth "Alpha" (screw the name bro pls) and Zee. Thirdly, there clearly was no incest in this book, and I'm totally glad there was none. But it sort of felt like it. Surely, it was about the Ouroborous (or whatever it was called) which means it begins where it ends. But do you truly have to connect each and every person, include each and everyone's biological family into the circle of events to make it dramatic? Does all of the love have to be limited to "the first love" and to yet another friend or related person? This is truly a fucked up circle of relationships and friendships. Furthermore, the ending was a little rushed. I was on like what, 85% and the ending was slowly just beginning? Could have scattered the only smut therefore and not dedicated four following chapters to it without a break... This doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy this book or the whole series, it has had its ups and downs and I'm well aware I express more critique, humans are good at criticism, we get it. So let me be positive one more time; I love reading about Dainn and Lyna, no matter the context, both their POV's have always captured my interest and were clearly my favourites. Id love to read more about them. I loved the plot, the mystery of the Syndicate (no shit that organisation would be absolute unmoral and it better not happen, that's horrible) and the many many many details of the characters traits, ticks, personalities, reactions, connections and thought processes. To the end of the dark verse series. To the written empire of New hope and to a peaceful mind at the end, cheers. Goodbye.

This is a love letter to Runyx 🖤

When I picked up the first book in the Dark Verse series back in August, I never imagined that it would change me, that I would fall so deeply in love with this world and its unforgettable characters. Fast forward to today, and I can’t even begin to find the right words to describe my love for The Syndicater, the grand finale of a series that has utterly claimed my heart. Reading The Syndicater, the sixth and final installment, felt like receiving a love letter from the author herself—an offering, a goodbye wrapped in tenderness and passion. So here I am, trying to write one back. I can only hope my words carry even a fraction of the emotions her stories have given me because Runyx and her art deserve nothing less. This book was more than a conclusion—it was a gift, a grand and glorious farewell to the Dark Verse that we DV-obsessed girlies have loved so fiercely. When release day came, I couldn’t bring myself to start reading for three whole days. I just wasn’t ready to say goodbye to a world that has felt like home to me. But when I finally started reading, I was immediately sucked into the Dark Verse once more, unable to stop until I’d devoured every page. And when I finished it, the book finished me. Picking up almost where Book 5 ended, The Syndicater wastes no time pulling you back into the dark, intricate world of the Dark Verse. Bit by bit, secrets unravel, twists and turns slap you in the face, and every thread of the story finds its perfect resolution. The way Runyx weaves four couples and multiple storylines together through alternating POVs is nothing short of genius. Somehow, she manages to give each character their moment to shine without ever losing focus or making the reader feel lost. Every perspective is a gift—each more emotional and impactful than the last. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it forever: Runyx is a master of words. She wields the alphabet like a magician, crafting a story so vivid, it feels less like reading and more like living. Her writing has this rare magic that makes you feel everything on a soul-deep level. It’s like watching the story unfold in your mind’s eye, every emotion, every plot twist hitting you with raw, breathtaking intensity. And the emotions? Oh, where do I even begin? Reading The Syndicater felt like coming home—to Tristan and Morana, Dante and Amara, Alpha and Zephyr, Luna and Shadowman. These characters have become so much more than just fictional names; they are pieces of my heart. When I read the final sentence, it truly felt like saying goodbye to old friends, and it broke me. But as much as it hurt, it was the perfect ending. I needed this grand, breathtaking finale. It was everything I didn’t know I wanted—bittersweet, heart-wrenching, and ultimately, deeply satisfying. The Syndicater isn’t just a book; it’s an experience, a masterpiece that will stay with me forever. Runyx, I can’t thank you enough for blessing us with the Dark Verse series. For the breathtaking plot, for the wonderfully flawed and beautiful characters, and for the emotions that will forever linger in my soul. This series holds a special place in my heart, one I’ll keep coming back to whenever I want to feel that sense of home again. I don’t know how I’ll move on now that it’s over, but I feel so privileged to have read something so extraordinary. And I’ll cherish it always, talk about it endlessly, and recommend it fiercely to anyone willing to listen. Thank you for this masterpiece. Thank you for the magic. Forever, your DV girlie 🥀🖤

First of all, let me tell you that my rating has nothing to do with the author herself. I don't criticize her as a human being. I'm just rating this book I've read and waited almost 2 years for... ________ First, I gave this book ⭐️⭐️ but the more I think of it, I can't give it more than 1,5 ⭐️ and I'm really sorry for it. (The half point is just for runyx writing style, which was good in some small parts) For me, the dark verse series ended with book 5, and I'm gonna delete this from my memory ✨️ 😤
