3.5⭐ I wanted to love this so bad, especially since everyone else seems to love it, but I just didn't. This is not a bad book by any means, I just didn't love it like I thought I would. For roughly 50% of this book I was just bored. They did have cute scenes, especially the last ~100 pages I really enjoyed. But there was just so much happening (or not happening) that was extremely boring. Usually I love all the side characters in her books, but I didn't care for any of them in this one. They rather annoyed me if I'm being honest. There were just too many scenes with mentioned side characters (which I honestly just skimmed) and that ruined it for me. I always appreciate mental health representation and I really like how the author writes about that in her books. I did still enjoy the writing and I find the authors books extremely easy to get through quickly. I always want to binge them, even with this one. In all honesty I would have probably rated this lower, or not even finished it, if it wasn't a book by Rachel Lacey. I am happy that I finished it though, since I loved the last ~30%.
