Okay this was intense😂It was definitely not what I expected and it was definitely better than what I expected. I had a really good time reading this, even tho it is unhinged AF. It's so different from every other MM romance I've read so far, but that's definitely not bad. It's a little bit like watching reality tv - the characters are super out of touch with the real world and completely unrelatable, and you still have a really good time watching. It was so funny I laughed out loud (even if some of them were because of "HE DID NOT", "WHAT is happening?!" and similar situations), it was VERY spicy and actually quite hot, even as an ace person, I can appreciate well written spice, and it was deeper and more lighthearted at the same time than I was expecting. I honestly thought it'd be an unhinged MC and basically smut only, but it was thrilling, I loved the character development and the romance was really solid. There were some struggles with consent (not regarding the MCs), which is why I'm a bit scared to read the next book, even tho I'm sure it'll be well executed and explained somehow, because every single morally grey thing in this book was also explained quite well. I had a really fun time reading this, but be aware it's SUPER graphic, not only regarding smut, but also regarding murder - it still is a hitman agency.
