This book is the best out of this series .Even if the story is not unique the character are .In particular Reese is the best female main character if ever read about in a cowboy romance even better than Willa from Heartless by Elsie Silver .She frees her self from her abusive Manager even if she is broken and doesn't trust in men she let Ford help her get over her trauma .He does not push in to doing things that she do not want to do .The plot was unpredictable and surprisingly good My favourite scene is the scene when she helps Ford to tend a snake bite dining a rain storm .This in particular shows verry good that both take care of each other in every way to protect the other fearlessly
