The Christmas season might not be right around the corner yet, but if you're looking for some cosy winter vibes, stop looking and pick up this book. I've been a fan of Monica Murphy for quite some time now, and holy moly, I was really excited to get to read this ARC. "Blind Date" has everything: it's festive, swoony, and just heartwarming all over. This is the first book I've read of the Dating series, and I'm ready to grab another one right away. "Blind Date" is filled with hope and tenderness, along with the engaging writing from Monica Murphy I adore so much. Both protagonists are so incredibly loveable. Isaac is one of Sullivan Tree Farm's most loyal employees. He's a laid back and fun guy with the sweetest personality while we meet our very own Grinch in the beautiful Amelia. After they bumped into each other, their paths keep crossing from there on - until they find themselves on a blind date together. Amelia felt relatable right away. She's been through a bit, and the charming 21-year-old just doesn't seem like a safe bet after everything. But even though they're opposites on paper, there's no denying the sparks. The two of them are such a great match - they bring out the best in each other. Even though I might not have read any other books of the series, I didn't feel like I was missing something. I assume, though, it would've been even better reconnecting with some characters. This book is simply the perfect light, feel-good read that will have you grinning from ear to ear. And Christmas is also involved, so what more would you ask for?
