This was dragggginggggggg. I get that we need this book to be slow, so we can really FEEL the atmosphere. But for me, it was just too much. We didn‘t need THAT MUCH buildup for the ending that we got.

Morbid but extraordinary!

I didn’t know exactly what to expect but my oh my was this book good! Rose’s detailed describing had me shuddering all throughout. A true modern gothic story! And the story itself is incredible thought out and made me question a lot of things in life. Tip for the right ambience music while reading: Ethel Cain’s album ‘Perverts’
