I think its a good book, a spicy romance with minimal suspence, but also cozy. If you like gaming, you will like it. I also love the problem solving and discussions. Finally some grown adult discussions and not some childish conflict (worth some plus points). Also the worshipping? Hello? I want a man worshipping the ground i walk on, too. Hell yeah. I have been following Madison's BookTube channel for years, and ever since I heard that she was coming out with a romance novel I knew I had to read it! It has all of my favorite tropes in there, and also no third act break up which I loved! I just found the plot itself to be predictable. I saw every single plot point coming, which took away my enjoyment of the last few chapters a bit. Overall though, the book was very well written, and had just the right amount of spicy scene, which were also very well written! I can't wait to see what else she has in store for us.

This was fun!!! I was struggling a bit to find motivation to read, but that was not the books fault. And after I got a bit deeper into the story I was fully invested. Madison Fox was able to grip me with her writing and story and once I really started to read - I devoured this. I really enjoyed the gaming aspect of the book and everything that comes along with it. Not sure if there aren’t many or if it’s just me (probably), but I’ve never really read a gaming romance?? And even though I never grow tired of the same often read before concepts if they are done well, this was something new and therefore a very refreshing and exciting experience! And Stevie and Aleks were adorable and so much fun to read about!! They had amazing chemistry with each other and I really enjoyed them as the main characters. I was worried a bit worried about the secret identity aspect… because I do enjoy the trope itself, but it is prone to result in ugly miscommunication. Which I do not enjoy. But, without spoiling anything, you have nothing to worry about. Madison Fox has done an incredible job, especially considering this is her debut novel!! Good Game is a highly entertaining and spicy gaming romance. You get enjoyable main characters with a sweet romance and lots of wholesome found-family on top. If you want a fast paced romance, that’s not the same enemies to lovers romance with the same plot you’ve read a hundred times before… give this one a shot! And I can’t wait for the next book!! 4
