Ich muss aufhören mich von Instagram beeinflussen zu lassen. Es wird total spannend angezeigt und dann lese ich’s mit Zwang zu Ende. Es ist immerhin nicht so lange gewesen, dass ich mich schnell durchkämpfen konnte. Es war ein hin und her, teilweise unnatürlich und schnell manche Sachen abgehakt und auch unlogisch. Hab es nur nicht abgebrochen, weil es echt kurz war.

this is the story about Katherine and Leo. they know each other since their 15th birthday. she went on vacation to Italy with her mother when she was 15 and met Leo. they had wonderful two weeks of fun and love. after two weeks she had to go back home and promised to Leo that they stay in contact through the phone and letters. a couple of weeks they do as they told but one day she came back after school and had an eviction at her door. so she couldn't get the letters or the phone call she just received from Leo. 15 years later she got an invitation for a wedding. HER OWN. with a ticket for a flight to Italy. like every sane woman she just took the ticket and flew to Italy and found herself in her own drama with the mafia. the story is a quick read but also you start the book and without context you just jump in. its a good storyline but all emotions and what should be deep lines are just scratching at the surface. it's super annoying, you think, this scene is gonna be awesome but then it's already finished and you find yourself in the next scene. it has a lot of potential.

Der Klappentext hat mich total angesprochen und ich war soooo gespannt auf die Story. Und im Großen und Ganzen war sie auch in Ordnung, aber ich denke, dass die Story einfach viel mehr Potenzial gehabt hätte und nicht ausreichend genutzt wurde. 🥲 Ich weiß um ehrlich nicht so recht, was ich sagen soll!? Habe gedacht, wenn ich die Story etwas sacken lasse, fallen mir die richtigen Worte ein, aber dem ist leider nicht so. Ich kann mich tatsächlich nur noch bruchstückhaft an die Geschichte erinnern. 🫣🫠

Dieses Buch hätte viel Potenzial, leider wurde dies nicht genutzt. Die Charakterentwicklung ist von wenig bis gar nicht vorhanden. Die Erzählweise ist meiner Meinung nach ziemlich abgehackt und nicht nachvollziehbar. Schade eigentlich, denn wer hatte schon nicht mit einem Freund diesen Deal?

Ich bin durch Tiktoks auf das Buch aufmerksam geworden und hab das EBook gelesen. Die Grundidee fand ich wirklich soo sooo gut aber irgendwie hat es mir an vielen Ecken an was gefehlt. An Details in bestimmten Szenen, die Handlungen schienen teilweise so abgehetzt und gekürzt. Ganz komisch.
