Half a star deducted because I was a bit confused by the creatures and how the supernatural world works. But besides the confusion, I came to love the book. The story is great and the tension building up consistently. Not a dull or boring moment. I am in love with Nicole, her family, Remi and of course Callum and Kyan. The whole set of characters is super intriguing, funny and lovable. The story is well thought through and all in all it gives me kind of SJM vibes. While I started not knowing what to expect, I finished - with a cliff hanger that leaves me hanging there of course - not able to wait for the next book!
