I knew it was too good to be true. Ending to this one was pretty predictable imo. Of course, they're gonna find Chloe and then somehow in some way Riley's going to end up by Mckenna. I had wagered, that she would've gotten herself kidnapped. Alas, here I was proven wrong. BUT, I have so many problems with this book. This book would have had zero plot had Riley decided to wait a few minutes and talk things through with the men before ushering Chloe out of the house. Had I been Chloe, I would've been downright pissed. What the actual fuck? We can trust them, no we can't, nevermind I do trust them. Pick a fucking side already. Riley start to become so insufferable to me. Boohoo such a fucking martyr. Especially when she found out that she was the one with the inheritance. The smut was this book's holy grails. But even the scenes leading up to the smut had me questioning, "really? you wanna go at it now?" ugh. I don't think I'll be finishing the series.

3,5 stars I can already say that the vibe of this book was just amazing!! University, enemies to lovers and a connected friendgroup of bad boys?! I am so excited to read about the other couples as this is an ongoing series introducing different couple in each book. Jolee and Ford were just the perfect example of enemies to lovers, the tension was just awesome. I really fell in love with Jolee, she is such a great person and her love of animals and passion to start a rescue center just makes me love her even more. Ford certainly hasn't had an easy past and I was really drawn into his story, what he went through was anything but pretty. Both together just gave me this perfekt kind of vibes and I just loved them together. From enemies to lovers, to friends with benefits to lovers! Their development not only sounds diverse, it was also exciting to follow and to get them known more. The bad boy who is seen by everyone as untouchable is changing for her? Belive me when im saying it couldn't have been better
