the beginning of this book was actually pretty good - i didn’t like shiloh that much, but i still enjoyed reading the chapters from her pov. i absolutely loved malyk (until a certain point) and he was making the book so much better - because the last quarter simply wasn’t it for me. it‘s my first amo jones book, and i’ll definitely continue reading stuff by her - but if this series will ever be continued, i don’t think i’ll continue it 🙃 (tbh, i don’t think there’ll be a second book - according to the ebook, it should’ve been published on september 1st, 2023 - and still, no book. I think the aphotic waters series won’t be continued)

⤷‧₊˚3.25 ⭑ „how annoying that you’re just so fucking perfect.“ i’m usually a big fan of amo jones, but i didn't understand what was going on here. i spent most of the book trying to figure out what i was reading, but i have to say that i enjoyed the characters and i am really looking forward to learning more about them in the next book.
