"You're mine!" "He's mine!" "I'm yours" "She's mine" "All mine..." "MINE!!!" it was a little much of that 😅 And at some point during sex somebody always started "seeing stars" 😂 it's a little repetitive. An upside of the sex scenes is that they're actually a little original and kinky. It's not something I've read before and I like it. What I love about Emily Raths protagonists is that they are very communicative and open with each other. No toxic drama or freezing each other out or anything like that. The connections always seem very healthy ❤️‍🩹 I need that to become the gold standard. I want to read more about wholesome couples, it's so soothing for the soul 🥹 I didn't like the threatening of "I'm gonna tell the press and you're guy won't be able to play anymore, he will lose everything and everybody will hate you" which is so 🙄 ugh, really? It felt re-heated from the first book where the author sits exactly the same thing. but this time the one song the threatening was Tess' disgusting ex husband. God, would I have liked to delete him from the book. made me feel sind type of way 😤 Other than that, it's a good book 😅 Although the repetitiveness of YOU'RE MINE, I SAW STARS, and I'M GONNA THREATEN YOU WITH BAD PRESS makes me a little bit hesitant to continue in the series.

I gotta be honest here ... 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ dafür, das ich es zwar beendet hab, und ich es grundsätzlich flüssig gelesen habe, weils im Gross und Ganzen eine gute Geschichte ist, aber dann doch nicht so gut, dass ich es weiterempfehlen oder sogar überragend fand. Die Geschichte von Tess und Ryan ist die Fortsetzung von 'Pucking around', welches mir ganz gut gefallen hat. Die Dynamik zwischen Tess und Ryan empfand ich anfangs als unpassend. Ryan ist der süsse Goldenretriever und Tess ist eine wahnsinnige Naturgewalt. Doch zunehmend verschmelzen die zwei Charakteren zu einem echt süssen Paar. Ich gebe zu, dass ich die Sexszenen grösstenteils überflogen habe, da es nicht so meins war. - wasn't my kind of kink - aber ansonsten angenehm zu lesen. Ich gebe dem nächsten Band 'Pucking sweet' noch ne Chance, aber danach gebe ich vermutlich die Reihe auf. We'll see ...

This book hit the sweet spot between romance comfort and “I want to run someone over with a Zamboni.” I loved the story between Ryan and Tess, their relationship grows out of protection, patience, and genuine care, not just insta-lust. Tess is still trapped in the nightmare orbit of her ex-husband Troy, who refuses to grant a divorce because he’s a controlling narcissist with a mother who apparently majored in Raising Monsters. His stalking, harassment, and abuse cast a dark shadow, and watching Tess slowly reclaim control of her life is deeply satisfying. Enter Ryan, human golden retriever in hockey gear. He’s steady, gentle, and fiercely protective without being overbearing, the kind of man who builds safety instead of demanding gratitude. What I adored most is how he doesn’t just love Tess; he gives her a family through the team, surrounding her with loyalty, chaos, and support. Trauma healing, found family, and one trash ex getting emotionally sidelined? Loved it.

Auch der zweite Band war soooo gut! Die Reihe gehört definitiv ab sofort zu meinen absoluten Lieblingen. Die Found Family Vibes sind der Wahnsinn, es ist so witzig und ich liebe die Liebesgeschichten und die übertriebenen Happy Ends. Manchmal weiß man nicht, was man gebraucht hat, bis man es zufällig findet. So gehts mir mit dieser Reihe. Ryan und Tess waren Zucker zusammen. Ich fand unglaublich schön, wie die beiden zusammengewachsen sind und wie sie sich einfach immer und kompromisslos unterstützt haben. Und auch die Freundschaft von Tess und Rachel kam in diesem Teil nochmal besser raus und war großartig! Obwohl die Geschichten super spicy sind, kommen auch die Handlung, der Sportanteil und tiefgründige Themen nicht zu kurz. Ich finds die perfekte Mischung und liebs!

Auch der Teil hat mir sehr gut gefallen, auch wenn es zum Ende hin etwas kitschig wurde😊 Das ist jedoch immer auch ein wenig Geschmacksache. Die Thematik hier hat mir noch besser gefallen als im ersten Teil. So hatte Tess in meinen Augen unglaublich viel Tiefgang während ich mir das bei Ryan noch ein wenig mehr gewünscht hätte. Alles in allem hat mir auch dieser Teil unglaublich gut gefallen. Ob ich Teil 3 jedoch auch lesen werde…
