I understand why some people did not love this book, but for me it was a winner. You get to know more about her relationship with her mother and why her mother reacted how she did in the next books. I can relate to Penny in so many ways, she always wreaks havoc when she does magic and also always tries to do the right thing. There were so many times I was just sitting in front of my tablet looking like this: I definitely enjoyed all 3 books of this series :)
