The highlight of his week, however, are his Thursday calls to the local bookshop. But as he witnesses something seemingly horrible happen to the owner over the phone, he has to make a decision. Will he stay away from all of this, or will he come to his only friend's rescue? Such a fun read! This story has presented me with a few plot twists even I did not see coming, and I have enjoyed all of them. The main characters are well-written representations of their respective conditions and offer a very realistic insight into life with those hurdles. Another part I very much enjoyed was how kink positive this romance is. I can't wait to read the rest of this series!
