2.5-3 ⭐️ First of all, it wasn’t a bad story just nothing super special. I loved the letters and the small-town vibes. This book definitely made me feel festive and cozy. The FMC was quite funny and cute. Caleb for some reason I couldn’t grasp as a person. After all the characters were very flat (due to the length of around about 80 pages) and I couldn’t feel the connection and deep love that was described between the characters. The writing style was good and easy to get through. So overall a very fun festive read.

story: 2-3 ⭐️ (it was fine) audio: 4 ⭐️ (dual narration, I love Aaron Shedlock’s voice) it was short, sweet (no spice), I didn’t really care all that much, but it’s included in prime reading, so you can’t really go wrong. HOWEVER, in the year of our lord 2022 I had to stomach yet another H*rry P*tter reference and can we please do better?? I get the nostalgia, but have you no other interests that you *must* bring up HP in a 80 page (1 h 42 min) novella?? I think I might give Meghan Quinn’s books a rest (for) now. The audiobooks always lure me in (her newest releases are often narrated in duet and I’m a whore for duet narration), but her humour is not for me and her plot and characters tend to feel childish and annoying to me :/
