Same as the first one, the second book was pretty mid as well (but I have the audiobooks for free, so I guess we're doing this). The structure was pretty similar to the first one too. In the last 20% of the book, the story picked up and got a little exciting, though I'm not satisfied how [spoiler!] Jarl survives again. He doesn't seem to be a outstanding fighter and just lives on to assault Elise again in the next book, I guess. Most characters feel pretty flat, like e.g. Elise's sister, who seems to cruel and nothing else.
