Saw a lot of negative reviews online about this book, but I REALLY enjoyed reading it. I loved the tension between them and the yearning. I can’t wait for the next book. (It better not be 2 more years). It really did not disappoint me at all! It is a VERY slow burn, but the tension is amazing and I can’t wait to see how their relationship will develop in the second book. Also the last sentence had my jaw on the floor. Highlights: This is true love, and Christ, how I crave it. Dangerously so. A flash of pink, and I’m on my knees before I can stop myself. Good question. I saw bare skin. I saw pink lace. I saw red.

I love reading about Gabe and Wren yay! I love a good grumpy x sunshine story and I love the way there was like an evolution of banter between them. All in all Somme Sketcher can write great banter in my opinion and I can’t wait for the next book to see how they’ll finally admit they like each other and don’t fight they’re attraction. I love it!

All those years of waiting were totally worth it. THIS BOOK. GABR AND WREN. THIS IS IT!! The tension, the longing, the everything. They only touched and it was the best thing ever. I did expect a bigger plottwist at the end tho. This didn’t quite left me on the edge. I needed something that would make me go mad but this was quite mild tbh. I loved all the cameos. It was so refreshing to read about all of them again. Even tho the ending wasn’t mind blowing. Let’s hope that the second book gets released faster than the first one did😭🤞🏼
