Naomi and Finns relationship was…pretty. It had cute vibes. Some parts were really 4 stars and some parts needed more depth. I feel like Finns amnesia and subsequently his need to relearn himself was not explored enough. It had more potential. On the other hand, it felt hard to believe that he had it together enough to be the sounding board for Naomi. Naomi, the sunshiny character, came with her own struggles. Showcasing that we all can have a multitude of different emotions. I liked her growth. I wished we digged deeper into her past. I believe this book series comes with an overall story arch about the Mendel hockey team. But it can be read as a standalone.
