After moving in with his partner Doyle in the aftermath of separating from his husband, Larkin finds himself in a vicious, not exactly cold case that connects him with an older case, and another form of a memento mori. While the pedophile case is horrific, and the end of the toxic marriage painful, Larkin and me enjoy the effect Doyle has on him. A fantastic read!!! 💙
