The storyline is even more interesting than Part 1... and all the other characters too. In the first part, I was mainly interested in Vanya and Soren, and here, too, of course, but also how they rescue Nathaniel or Blaine - that was all genuinely interesting. While it's frustrating while reading when everything isn't solved at once, it keeps you hooked on the story. I still don't know why Soren had to use the fire there and reveal himself, but well, I wasn't against it; it had to come out sometime. That scene at the end of the book... I knew that would be PAIN in the next one
