Okay, I had to change the rating up to 4, because after a week I am still thinking about it and I'm wondering how it's going to turn out for the main characters. I haven't started book 2 yet. The last scene got me a little cringy - had a bit of a nasty after taste so to say. Which is why I haven't started with book 2 yet. So when I read this I wasn't expecting much and sometimes I stopped and thought: wait, that book is kinda short for all that plot that's gonna happen... But it's pretty fast paced. The writing is good, it got me hooked.
