I’m not gonna lie to you: this book had a pretty mediocre storyline overall, but it was still kinda good, to be fair. Most of the events were a bit predictable, but the tension between Nero and Lilly was quite nice, and the spice was good as well. The storyline itself wasn’t bad either — the whole revenge aspect was actually quite refreshing, especially since I haven’t read many books with this specific trope The book is a short and fast read and overall nothing particularly special or new. Still, as I already mentioned, I enjoyed it, and the ending was interesting too. It definitely makes you curious about how their story might evolve 🫣 I would recommend it, but I won’t be continuing the series. Even though I enjoyed this book, it didn’t fully convince me to read the other two 🥴
