I don‘t know what‘s in this book, but it‘s addictive – I ate it up. It‘s not the kind of Fantasy world that is explained to the smallest detail, but while reading you get enough information to understand its rules and know how it works. I loved reading from Silvia’s as well as from Keir‘s PoV. Silvia’s inner conflict is so relateable, and I feel with her. And at the same time the chemistry of Keir and Silvia is potent from the start, even though Silvia tries to deny it. I think the story balances being spicy while telling a complex story about Vampire gangs, Vampire hunters and the politics of these different groups, so very well. Something I too appreciate so very much, is that the story doesn’t feel rushed. Silvia stays at the compound for months, and you might not experience every day, but it does feel like she stays there for a while, and it isn‘t rushed by any means. Out of the side characters, Gil is my fave. He is such a good friend to Silvia AND Keir, and such a great addition to their dynamic. 5/5⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

Es war mein erster Ausflug in eine Dark Romance Welt. Grundsätzlich mochte ich das Buch und auch das Couple um das es geht ziemlich gerne. Vampirin Keir ist wirklich hot 🤭 Silvia fand ich zwischendurch ein bisschen anstrengend, aber das arme Ding muss auch einiges aushalten. Etwas gezogen hat es sich leider auch teilweise. Aber insgesamt fand ich es schon spannend, weil auch einiges drumherum passiert und es eine tragische Backstory gibt. Das Ende hat einen ziemlich miesen Cliffhanger 🙈

Wow, dass Buch war wirklich ein sehr guter Read. Ich werde mir auf jeden Fall den 2. Band auch besorgen :) Die Charatere haben viel Hintergrund und die Handlung ist fesselnd mit einem düsteren Touch. Perfekt für die Oktober Zeit. Spice kommt definitiv auch nicht zu kurz, aber bestimmt auch nicht die gesamte Handlung. Es ist auch das erste mal das ich ein women loving women Buch gelesen haben mit gutem spice. Der Cliffhanger am Ende macht es nochmal spannender sich auch den Folgeband zu schnappen. Top🔥
