This made me miss the world of Daevabad so much and will probably end up in me re-reading the series eventually. Loved getting to see the lead-up to Muntadhir's relationship with his guard, as well as (slight spoiler) Nahri's parents. We also got an engaging chapter from both Ali's mom and the villain in the last book, which made me root for both of them, even though they're both very morally corrupt characters. They're just super interesting to read about, that's all I have to say. Really can't wait for Chakraborty's eventual continuation of the serie (fingers crossed).
