Now that's a snake worthy to be called King!
4,5/5⭐️ throughout 4/5🌶 ladies choice Book blurb "Daisy. Daisy. Daisy. From the moment her name is spoken, it is all I can hear. Her frightened tears bring me anger. I vow to wipe them off her face and banish her fear. To make her my queen. But I have to catch her first. I have to convince her to trust me. I have to show her she is safe. But only with ME. Because if any other naga male tries to take Daisy away from me, I will kill them. And if she runs? She’ll find out there’s no escape. I’ve paid the price to mate her, and she needs to know a gilded nest is better than freedom in my world." Now THAT'S what I call Alien/Monsterfucker-Romance! We again had a rough start but the second book took a sharp turn on that really quickly! The end of the first book gives us a glimpse on the situation towards the end of book 2, where daisy got shot down while flying a shuttle and our dear King cobra has to take care of her. Zaku is a real sweetheart underneath his 'I am your king and you do as I say' demeanor, who wants to care for his queen and spoil her rotten with treasure, as well as affection. - sign me up! He also literally rips rapists to shreds and would rather die, than risk hurting his mate in that way - we stan a male with unshakable principles! Daisy also positively surprised me, by being rational about her situation and actually communicating with Zaku about her fears and wants, as wellnas meeting him head on if nesessary. All in all I can say, that the second book restored my hope for this series and I am looking forward to the next one! Enjoy!
