Loved the interactions between lara and ever but the language threw me off. i really had to concentrate to understand everything bc my native language is not english but nonetheless the book was nice enough for me to read in under 24 hours. i didn’t like the ending with them being in the human world and kind of staying there until they find a way to help evers brother. also i did not understand the curse - why would they accept a curse from aer or whatever she was called? why not do everything they can to break the curse and fight her off instead of letting her attend their land?
