(spoilers ahead) I'm not a fan of books where you KNOW the protagonist is safe (e.g. they live even though they should've died). I understand why authors do this but for me it takes away the stakes as I KNOW it'll be a "happy ending". This book wasn't bad by any means, it gave a nice conclusion to the trilogy. Yet some scenes (most of all the weird forest scene) seemed out of place and generally unfitting. Same with some minor plots / reveals. But after all as I said, it gives a nice conclusion to the trilogy.
