These Book was may first book by Rachel van Dyken. What i should have known befor reading was that these book is part 9 of a Series. But even if don't have the knowlege of the other books i was able to understand the whole story. The way the Mafia was structured in this book was verry interresting. A few days before i got the Copy from of these i listened to the first book of an other series that takes place in the Mafia and really enjoyed these but i also liked Eulogy really much. These book was able to put a lot Adrenalin to my vains. Rachel was able to show a lot of anger in these book but the i wast't able to understand why there hat a lot anger the Situation had been really intense but sometimes the male character acted in a way that was really bad. But the showed definitely that she can write male characters with a lot of charakriticts. Rachels style of writing was so nice to read. She found good word showing the emotions of her protagonists. I didn't get why there had been so many perspectives in these book. Sometimes it confused because I was in to the Heads off our maincharacters in that book. That was to much for me. There had been a lot of things i wouldn't do like these so many acts i couldn't get through really. But we saw a lot of humor besides the serious themes and problems. Chase was a male character that i couldn't understand but he makes a grate development in the story. If you search for a Mafia story with broken characters and people help each ohter in alot of differebt ways and al the Mafia buisness you are right here.
