Oh my, my, my <3 I had a delightful time reading this and it got me out of a reading slump like a professional! There was so, so much to relate to here, I'd say it's ridiculous, but I'm too grateful for the representation. The characters were lovely, I felt the narration voice sounded appropriately young, I liked the points the book was trying to make and I knew most of the songs incorporated, so my experience was enriched by them (I don't know how that goes over with people who don't know the tunes, but to me it felt like their atmosphere etc. was sufficiently described).
