Me after finishing this series: [Disclaimer: I'm angry. And I won't hold back.] I've never been the biggest fan ot the Queen of the Tearling series but I enjoyed the plot and mostly the whole world Erika Johansen build. But then, what happened? Did the story get to complicated for her to finish it properly. Was she exhausted and thought this cheap cop-out was necessary? This was not a "hipster" way to end a story, this was pure laziness. The author didn't want to answer the burning questions. Maybe she got lost in her story. I'm frustrated. I regret spending so much time reading book 1 and 2 and getting invested in the characters (and I can't believe I was invested in The Fetch! Thanks Erika.). For what? That Kelsea is the only one left and everyone doesn't remember her or the whole plot that happened in the books before. Ridiculous. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. No recommendation from my side. Stay clear from this series. It's way to unsatisfying and dissapointing.
